Updated: Sep 4, 2020

Q: What is your role at Bomfords?

To help coach and develop the team at Bomfords. To add a 3PL perspective to our ways of working, and support the ongoing growth of Bomfords.

Q: What drew you to Bomfords as a company?

After talking to Ian Howell who I have been acquainted with for several years, it seemed like a really exciting place to be and support Ian’s vision for the future. Who would not want to be involved with growth and fast paced business.

Q: What do you enjoy the most about the job?

No two days are the same and pace of work is phenomenal.

Q: What does a Operations Director do?

Good question wish I had a manual on what was role was about, but you touch everything operational from H&S, operational planning & execution, fleet management, to development plans and most importantly our customers.

Q: What are you most excited about right now?

Trying to understand where last 4 weeks have gone!

Q: If money were no object, what would you do with your life?

Buy island in Maldives and take whole family away while cure is found for Covid. That’s would be my dream no phones, no internet and spending time with grand kids and family.

Q: What do you do for fun?

Depends how weeks gone.

Q: What’s the last picture you took on your phone?

Ian Howell pallet wrapping in hot weather.

Q: What’s your favourite word?

Arsenal won, spurs lost.

Q: What problem do you wish you could solve?

What to do with all the used tyres in the world.

Q: What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned recently?

Time not only goes quick when you are having fun but when you also work at Bomfords.

And finally Q: Whom in the world would you most like to share a meal with?

My Dad who died 3 years ago.
